Mahale National Park
Mahale Mountains is the prime location for chimpanzees in Africa. It is a stunningly beautiful location where verdant forested mountains plunge to white sand beaches and a gin clear lake.
The chimp experience itself, which we rate as the best animal interaction in Africa, is hard to put into words, but let it be said that even the most sceptical amongst us now agree that this is quite literally a 'life-punctuating' event.
The remoteness of the location and the quality of the camps makes this an expensive outing, but one worth stretching to if you possibly can.
Zoe's Camp is the place to stay.

New Mexico
Home to the Navajo and Apache peoples, New Mexico is one of the most culturally important states in America. Native American pueblos and Spanish villas still stand today, some hundreds of years old. Visitors can see classic adobe architecture in Santa Fe, visit Central Avenues stylized buildings in Albuquerque, and join in the summer festivities surrounding the supposed UFO landing in Roswell.
Arizona
Arizona is a wondrous place, both geographically and culturally diverse, rich with tradition yet young as a state. Few travel destinations offer so great a change of scenery in so little time. Within a two to four hour drive any direction, visitors find themselves in completely different surroundings. Certain times of the year one could actually ski twice in one day – on both snow and water. Arizona boasts vast open spaces and scenic beauty from the high lush desert area south of Tucson to the magnificent Grand Canyon area. Ranges of mountains rise from the desert floor throughout the Sonoran desert region. Traveling northward, pine covered mountain slopes lead upward to snow capped peaks in Flagstaff and in the White Mountain area which extends along the eastern state line. In areas like Sedona and Monument Valley, reddish rock formations composed of layers of volcanic rock, sandstone, limestone and shale, give the landscape striking colors and unique formations. Rock hounds find the state rich with gems and minerals created by millions of years of geological activity
Washington
Wherever you look, there is always something spectacular and exciting to see in Washington State from glaciers, to rainforest, to the islands of Puget Sound. Tourists will enjoy driving alongside rugged coastline and spending time in quaint seaside towns. More adventurous travelers will enjoy hiking Mount Rainer, and Mount St. Helens, home of an active volcano. If city life is what youre looking for, Seattle offers more than just great coffee. Make sure you check out the new main public library, an architectural delight sure to please everyone.
